“A little understanding goes a long way”

There’s been a lot going on in the news lately, so I created this drawing of Dash the cheetah, and his rival, Leonard the African wild dog, from my first children’s book, “Dash on the Run,” fist bumping together.
In the book, both took advantage of an opportunity. Leonard wanted to get nourishment, while Dash wanted to protect those who needed help.
It’s important to understand what motivates another person to act.
Taking the time to understand will reduce unhealthy conflict.
